Privacy policy
We work with people in a vulnerable state, so we treat data more strictly than the minimum requires. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible for the data
The owner of the database and the party responsible for processing is Anna Smorodinskaya, Osek Patur (VAT-exempt sole trader), Israel. Processing is carried out in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations made under it.
For any question about your data: Write to us at [email protected].
A special category of data
Information about a person's mental state and about seeking psychological help is particularly sensitive. We collect such information to the smallest extent possible, keep it separately from general data, and use it for no purpose other than organising your work in the group.
What we collect
- With your request: name, age, phone number, email address and — if you wish — a free-text description of what brings you.
- For participants under 18, additionally: the name of the parent or legal guardian and their consent.
- With payment: the fact and amount of the payment and the status of the transaction. The card number and payment details stay with the payment provider and never reach us.
- Technical information needed to run the site and keep the server secure: IP address and time of request in the server logs.
Providing this data is voluntary, but without a name, contact details and age we cannot form the group or get in touch with you.
What we use it for
- To form the group and match you to the right one.
- To contact you about the start date, issue the payment and send you the link to the session.
- To meet legal requirements — above all tax and accounting obligations.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We do not use your data for marketing mailings unless you have separately subscribed to them, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Who sees the data
- The people running the project — to the extent needed to form groups and handle payments.
- Your group's facilitator — name, age and the description of your request. The free-text description is seen by the facilitator alone.
- Contractors without whom the service cannot run: the payment provider, the email service, the video meeting service and the hosting provider. Each receives only the minimum needed for its function.
We do not sell data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Disclosure to state authorities is possible only where the law requires it.
Facilitators are bound by professional and ethical rules of confidentiality. In exceptional cases where there is a real concern of harm to the person themselves or to others, it may be necessary to act in accordance with the law and with professional obligations.
Privacy outside the sessions
A group is not a social network and not a place for public discussion of other participants.
We respect participants' privacy outside the sessions too: we do not make contact, share information or reveal that someone takes part in a group without their consent.
Where the data is kept, and for how long
- Data is stored on a secure server in the European Union. The database is closed to outside access and the connection to the site is encrypted.
- Requests that did not lead to participation are deleted after twelve months.
- Participants' data is kept throughout their participation and for seven years after the last payment, as tax law requires.
- The free-text description of your request is deleted when your participation in the group ends.
Your rights
- To find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- To correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- To request deletion of your data — except the minimum we are required by law to keep.
- To withdraw your consent to processing. This ends your participation in the group going forward and does not reverse payments already settled.
- To lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
To exercise any of these rights: Write to us at [email protected]. We reply within thirty days.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses no advertising trackers and no behavioural analytics. No profiling cookies are set. Technical cookies are used only where the page itself would not work without them.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, this section will be updated before they go live and a consent request will appear on the site.
Security
- The connection to the site is encrypted and the database is not reachable from the outside network.
- Access to personal data is granted only to those who need it for their work.
- Sessions are recorded neither by us nor by participants — that is a separate rule of the group.
- In the event of a breach that could affect your rights, we will notify both you and the competent authority.
