Nobody understands me. Inside there is a whole storm, and outside there is school, parents, friends, grades, social media and expectations. And sometimes even the person looking back from the mirror suddenly feels unfamiliar.
A space without lecturing or judgement, where you can talk, feel and be who you are. Registration is handled by a parent.
Outbursts of anger, tears, stretches of apathy or withdrawal, pressure around schoolwork and exams, and a sense that the feelings themselves are simply too strong. Sometimes it is hard even to work out what you are feeling, and why.
It is hard to accept a changing body. Hard to stop comparing yourself with others. On social media everyone looks better-looking, more successful and more popular. And running through all of it is the fear of rejection, exclusion or bullying.
The thought that "there is something wrong with me". The difficulty of finding friends who feel genuinely close. And at home — endless battles with parents over privacy, independence, boundaries and freedom.
This is a space without lecturing. The facilitator is not another teacher telling teenagers what they "should" do, but a professional who holds a safe space for them and helps them understand themselves and their relationships with others. The aim is a place where you can speak and be present without having to pretend.
The group can help teenagers recognise and understand their feelings, learn to regulate them even when they are strong, cope better with social pressure and other people's opinions, and develop the ability to form real and meaningful friendships. It can also open up a new way of talking with parents — less through shouting or withdrawal, and more through communication and setting boundaries.
Cost per session: 190 ₪, duration 90 minutes, group of 6–8 people.
